I had been using iProTV to do multiview on my iPhone and Apple TV. I recently started using an app called UHF. For some reason when it view streams in the app it wants to transcode everything. iProTV doesn't seem to have the same issue. I have tried specifying format=ts and codec=copy but it still wants to transcode which ads latency to the stream. iProTV seems to pass the stream directly.
Yeah...that has nothing to do with channels. That's on the Player and I would recommend you switch
