Channels DVR Server

Switched to Channels recently from Plex DVR, where I have a lifetime Plex Pass, because their DVR guide isn’t reliable and I’m disappointed to find that the Channels DVR guide isn’t much better.

Guide: Central Scotland (West) OTA
Issues:

  1. BBC Scotland (Channels 9 and 108) showing ‘To be announced’ from Friday 21.02.20 onward
  2. BBC Four (Channels 68 and 106) showing Hidden on 22.02.20 running from 2100 to 2245, when the show at 2200 should be Clive James ‘Postcard to Rio’

I have deleted and reinstalled the TV guide a couple of times. Any ideas how to fix these issues?

Does the official HDHR app show the correct data?

Not 100% sure how to answer that, as I can’t see HDHR EPG data beyond 24 hours via slice. I searched for ‘Clive James’ and got no results. I searched for ‘Hidden’ and it does appear with an airdate/time of 22.02.20 at 2100, but gives me no indication of how long the show is. My guess therefore is that, no, the correct data is not in the HDHR app.

ETA: I also searched for Sportscene, which should be on BBC Scotland on Sun 23.02.20 at 1915, and that airing didn’t show up either.

BBC Scotland guide fixed, but BBCFour still wrong for Saturday.

There's an update in the latest DVR pre-release that may help with guide accuracy. After updating (by click-and-hold on the Check for Update button), click the trash icon under your HDHR and then re-enter your postal code. There's a new "Local Area Broadcast" option that's selected by default which should provide better data.
