I am unable to access my dvr setting page. I can log on to the dvr but when I try to access the dvr it starts to load then stop. any advice on how to access it ?
Details?
- Server:
- OS/version
- DVR version?
- Client:
- Browser/OS/version?
You've basically said "It doesn't work; why?", but haven't given anyone details that could even begin to help them help you.
ok I have the server set up on a news nividia shield. I can log into my account but that as far as I can go I am unable to log into the settings page.to finish setting up the dvr
It may not be intentional, but there still is almost no information there.
When you say:
what exactly do you mean?
Remember, no one here is looking over your shoulder, so we really don't know what you're seeing. Please state explicitly and step-by-step what you have done, and what you see/experience each step of the way.
Also, to head off further questions: have you attached an external USB drive to your Shield, set it up as external storage, and ensured that it is formatted as "ExFAT", and not any other filesystem type?
when I go on line I can log into my account page.when I click on thehttp://dvr-shield.local:8089/ to access the setting page it doesn't load to.it just stop loading.that is the way I usually access the setting page. is there another way to access the setting page?
When you try to log in, which OS/version and browser/version are you using? You say your DVR is running on a Shield: which OS/Android version is the shield running?
Have you done any updates or hardware changes? Were you able to access your system normally before? If so, what has changed?
Maybe someone else can chime in with advice, but presently I feel like I'm pulling teeth.
You haven't given any (useful) details, and you're making everyone guess. Without actual details I'm afraid you're on your own.
Can you open the dvr server app on your shield? Does it show as running? You should see the IP address listed there to connect, or a start button.
@dansparks37 , I must apologize. This is your first time posting and seeking help, and I have been unnecessarily curt in my responses. I recognize that you are lost and seeking help, and I have been unwelcoming.
However, the community would still like additional information in order to assist you. As a public community we are limited in what we can offer, but Aman (@tmm1) has additional resources.
Any additional information you can offer would be well received. As previously stated, we're not there with you, and only know what you tell us.
