Unable to navigate to "Settings" in Apple TV app

I'm fairly new to Channels DVR but it has been working well for me so far. Today I noticed that my channels were not showing in the Apple TV top shelf, only "up next". I'd previously set it up to show my favourite channels in top shelf and they were there yesterday. That's not major issue for me, but....

I went to check my settings in the channels TvOS app but I can no longer navigate to the Settings option (it's there but I can't go down to it). When I get to the last item in the sidebar navigation, "Search" in my case, the next press down takes me back to the top of the list and opens it, "On Now" in my case.

I don't know if there has been an automatic update of the app and I can't find what version of the app it is because I can't get into settings!!

Anyone had a similar issue and can offer any solutions?

For info., this is the standard App Store version, not a beta.

Do you have any Personal Sections applied to the Sidebar navigation? Are their names very long? This was a bug at one point, but I didn't think it was on the store version.

Try force quitting the app and restarting it.

Thanks @maddox I have forced quit the app a couple of times to no avail. I do have a personal section with some streamlinks that the name does flow beyond the menu width. I’ll try changing the name to something shorter.

OK, that's the bug. It's resolved in the beta, and we'll be shipping a new build to the store next week. For now just shorten the name.
