hd homerun app handles live play and hdhomerun dvr tasks run and succesfully record.
channels app provides message when attempt to live view premium channels but plays them.
Unable to record premium channels - message displayed that subscription is needed. Click ok and nothing happens.
If you don't have a paid subscription to SD PTV all you're seeing is the demos. Can only view for a minute or three or something. Can't record at all.
Did you recently subscribe? If so:
- open my.hdhomerun.com, click HDHR, then Channel Lineup and make sure the premium channels dont' say "demo"
- open DVR web UI, in the HDHR section select Scan Network
- restart the Channels app on your TV device
