What is theis error ... Creates a temp file but will not replace it ....

Permissions issue?

Or maybe windows problem when file is in use..

Is this from using the Rewrite option?

Is recording currently being watched?

I will reboot PC see if somehow it is in use ... Not a Permission Issue as file has access to everyone. Yes using Fix Video TimeStamps option.

@tmm1 you were correct Windows must somehow had it in use ... Worked now after reboot.

Edit Still no good after timestamp fix I guess the file is corrupted.

I was using it last Night turned it off .... must not be releasing the file on certain conditions thanks.

Funny thing is that the recording was not even Interrupted clean recording. when I try to watch it skips to the end after a while even after fixing timestamps.

It doesn't appear this has anything to do with the new TVE timestamp rewriter — this was an OTA recording.

It appears there's something unexpected going on when "Rewrite Timestamps" is invoked on Windows. I'm going to have to understand more about why this wouldn't be working correctly.

Regarding the situation that caused the issue with the timestamps at all, because you are using custom m3u sources to reach your HDHR instead of using our direct integration, we are not collecting the HDHR signal stats to give insight into any reception issues you might have. Our signal and network notifications are pretty nice and helpful.

It is an M3U from an Instance of Channels DVR that has all tuners. So it is an M3U stream and does not connect Directly to the tuners.

I see, so you'll want to look at that other DVR to see the signal stats for that tell you if there were issues with the reception.

There were definitely some signal issues:

I'll continue to try to figure out why the rewriting would fail to overwrite the file.

Ok We did have a snowstorm last night and heavy winds.

Looking at your logs further, it appears the timestamp rewrite failed because Windows does not allow us to overwrite a file that is currently being used. You had an active playback session when you tried to de the rewrite which caused the error.

I've made a fix to prevent those temporary files from sticking around when this fails in the future.

Yeah, It did not show as being watched in the DVR but a reboot of windows released it.
