Unable to watch recordings

I am unable to watch recordings. When I select the recording and choose "watch", a spinning circle shows up briefly and then goes back to the list of the recordings. I am also unable now to open/watch recordings I previously was able to watch. I use Channels DVR on Qnap network attached storage model TS-677.

Can you check the dvr web UI on your NAS to see if the Log tab shows any errors
