I am unable to log into the web UI this morning. Everything was working fine yesterday. I do have automatic updates enabled, was there a new update pushed?
No updates were pushed.
Start the container again and check what the Log shows about the crash
For some reason I had to delete the container and choose Channels DVR. If I used the Channels DVR TVE template the web interface would never work. After switching to the Channels DVR template everything works again, including the TVE features. Not sure why this happened..
I have to loosely agree with this post as I have been seeing something weird the past few weeks. About once a week I get a text message from my wife saying that the DVR isnt working. I log onto the server and sure enough, the entire Channels DVR docker is unresponsive....as in the web interface does not load. I try stopping, restarting the container, etc and it still does not come up even though docker shows it running. If i delete the container (but not the image) and rebuild the container then everything comes back up perfectly and away I go....but the same happens again in 5-7 days.
I can say that I have been using the :tve version. When this happened today I have switched back to the regular version without the tve designation....so we will see how long this runs.
Also, like Chalk4 said, even the regular template seems to have the TVE aspects to it now, so i may not need to even use the :tve version anymore anyways.
The TVE container is required for reliable TVE access, because only that container contains chrome.
I've uploaded a new version of fancybits/channels-dvr:tve docker container with the latest version of chromium. Please try pulling that to see if it helps with the issues.
