Unrelated, but Kodi?

Anyone got a none jailbreak way of getting Kodi onto the Apple TV 4 without it being blocked after a week? I’ve got it going, and installed the Paradox build on it for all my VOD needs, then using channels for all my live TV. Just need a back up way of installing incase my current methods gets blocked.

In the past I have downloaded the .deb file from here: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/darwin/tvos/

Then used this to sign it and Xcode to install: http://dantheman827.github.io/ios-app-signer/

Actually, didn’t see the one week part in your post, so you can ignore the above…

If you use the method described by @rykys, and use your own signing keys, and you are a paid ($99/year) member of the developer program, your binaries should last the length of your developer membership.

If you sign with keys from a free developer account, they will only work for about a month or so.

That’s the problem I’m having. At the moment I’m parting with a little bit of cash (£10) and having my UDID number added to someone else’s account, however looks like they used a free account and it blocked me after 3-4 weeks. I’m trying again with someone else but fear I’ll lose Kodi again in a few weeks. I may bite the bullet and sign up for a paid account myself. In the end it’ll still save me over a grand a year in cable subscription. The Paradox build on Kodi spacifically for ATV4 is lush so I don’t want to lose it.

Yeah. This is a bad way to go because of the limits. If you care at all, just pay the $99. It means you can sign all kinds of other things as well and have a bit more freedom.

If I did get an account and I have a copy of a TVOS version of a Kodi app saved on my PC, would it be just a case of registering the ATV4 UDID in the developer account, and then transferring Kodi to the ATV4 using ifunbox or iMazing, or would I have to do something different to stop the app from being blocked? I know nothing about this sort of thing!!!
