Hi, I am using DirecTv with TVE but do not subscribe to OWN. However, when doing a search, results from this channel show up. I only found out when several recordings failed for not being able to tune to the channel, #6100. Any way to prevent this or am I doing something wrong?
Hit pencil icon under your TVE source, then Edit at the top right. Scroll down to OWN and hit Rescan. Does the check mark get removed?
Hi, OWN isn't even a channel that shows up in my TVE list. I was trying to record some Christmas movies by searching for the word Christmas last week. Several results came up and I did not pay attention to what channel they were on since I thought I would only see results that I could actually record/watch. I tried to recreate the issue using another search word but can't find anything like before. Is there a way to eliminate this and/or eliminate search results for items that are not airing within a certain time period? This mainly happens with movies, not shows that are in-between seasons. Thanks for a great program by the way.
Search only returns shows that are available to you. Seems like OWN was showing up in the list before and caused some confusion with search.
