Unsupported protocol scheme?

I’m hoping this topic isn’t a duplicate. A search didn’t turn up quite the problem I’m seeing.

Recently, I switched from Hulu Live to YTTV. I’m trying to do with YTTV what I did with Hulu Live: use stream links to bring in the guide data for NBC properties, then jump out to an appropriate app when I click on the guide information.

When I tried a week or two ago, this more or less worked, though the NBC app didn’t want to play nicely.

Yesterday I decided to try again. The guide data comes in with no problem. But now all I get is the following when I try to launch a program: “Streaming to the tuner failed. Press play to try again. M3U: Could not fetch playlist from live: Get ‘nbctve://live/msnbc’: unsupported protocol scheme ‘nbctve’”

I haven’t changed the stream links since the last time I tried this. Here are the first few lines of the setup:

#EXTM3U

#EXTINF:-1 channel-id="bravo" tvg-chno="7058" tvc-guide-stationid="58625",BRAVOHD
nbctve://live/bravo

#EXTINF:-1 channel-id="msnbc" tvg-chno="7050" tvc-guide-stationid="64241",MNBCHD
nbctve://live/msnbc

I’m on the latest pre-release.

Any ideas? It isn’t that big a deal to just open the YTTV app, but it would be nice to get this working.

Sigh. I have to chalk this one up to stupid user error. I forgot to set the stream format correctly.

Though the links don’t work very well on the iPad, they work just fine on the Apple TV (as long as I remember to force quit the NBC app when I’m done watching).
