Updating Channels In m3u Incorrectly assigns channel EPG

When I reload my m3u on my channels DVR server after adding/removing channels from the m3u, the channel’s EPG’s become incorrectly assigned. This requires me to manually go into “Manage Lineup” and reassign each EPG to each channel every time

To replicate problem:

  • existing source in channels dvr server that has EPG assigned for each channel
  • update underlying m3u source (add channel)
  • in channels admin, “Reload M3U”
  • notice that EPGs are offset and incorrectly assigned when looking in the “Manage Lineup” for updated source

maybe an example of one of the problem channels m3u entry and the lineup mismatch would help us help you.
also what are the custom channel settings?

It sounds like your M3U doesn't have channel-id tags
