Upgrading NAS - Any Channels DVR Issue

I’m upgrading my old synology NAS (212J) to a new synology NAS (218+) - just plugging in the new drives to the new hardware - is there going to be any kind of issue that I should expect or prepare for with the Channels DVR? Thanks!

I don’t expect any issues with the DVR. However I’m not really sure what the process for upgrading Synology NAS is. Your old model and the new one have different processor architectures, so you may need to remove the DVR app and re-install it. After reinstalling, you can visit http://x.x.x.x:8089/restore to pull in your old settings, recordings and passes.

I have done it before, upgrading a synology NAS. There are migration instructions on the synology website, but basically just do a configuration backup (just in case) and put the drives in the new NAS and it should boot with an option to migrate.

So all went well except that the guide data is not downloading - log says the following:
2017/12/09 15:29:08 [DVR] No listings for USA-OTA38002 (0 airings, 0 groups); starting indexer…

It says that more than once? What else is in the Log?

Did you delete and reinstall the DVR app or not?

the guide finally loaded - took almost two hours - not sure why? I did reinstall the dvr app and all is working correctly now. Thanks!!
