I upgraded the NAS. It’s the same brand, Synology and they have a migration assistant. The files and the app transferred but I can’t seem to open the package on the new NAS web interface. Do I have to delete and reinstall? Also, even though the package is running I can’t access the app from streaming devices. When I revert back to old NAS it runs fine.
I run on a Synology NAS as well, though never tried to migrate. I believe you will need to install and then have the server restored from a backup. Several threads that give you the how to (doesn't have to be specific to the NAS server, the process is the same regardless of the platform).
If the migration assistant moved all your files, then you should be able to restore from the database folder that's sitting in your new NAS.
