USB Tuner or Alternative Network tuner support

Hey all!
I was wondering if support could be added for other network tuners or USB tuners.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having issues but due to supply and demand I'm unable to go out and get an hdhomerun at the moment.

Is there any way I can make due with what I have(USB tuner) or is there an alternative network tuner I can try?

Locast is getting me by, but I can tell all of my channels are less than desirable quality.

They aren't going to add support for any other tuners.
You could use NextPVR or TVH with an unsupported tuner to output an .m3u to use with Custom Channels.

While there is limited availability on Amazon, shopping direct at electronics suppliers online might help.

I just ordered an HDHR Connect Duo from B&H photo last week and had it in 2 days to add tuners to an existing setup.

Got mine off eBay

I just got a refurbished one from SiliconDust.

The HDHomeRun Flex 4K is available on Amazon just a bit more expensive but backwards compatible.

Thank you for all the options guys, trying to use the equipment I have on hand, I attempted a tvh server but for some reason I couldn't get it to recognize my USB tuner properly. Thank you for the NextPVR recommendation! That started right up and after a little learning, I have all my local channels. I did however have to do a weird dance with the m3u, as it doesn't port the channel numbers over for Channels DVR to pick up properly but all in all I have a complete experience. I had to download the m3u via VLC and load it into an m3u editor.

I downloaded the m3u with firefox and just used a text editor.

+! on the refurbs from Silicondust. Have bought them previously and had no issues. I also setup a Colossus recently in NextPVR and ported over via m3u and it works great!
