Use squares instead of rectangles for Top Shelf

I love Channels’ use of Top Shelf, but for some reason it crops all the guide icons to rectangles, instead of presenting the original squares as seen when inside the app.

I know squares are supported by tvOS since the 7plus app uses them:

Within Channels the squares look good (they’re not very high res but they’re ok sitting on the couch)

But Top Shelf looks pretty poor with very pixelated, cropped rectangles

The images we use are 4x3. The Top Shelf only supports 16x9 or 2x3 images, so either one we use will cause cropping. This is a limitation of tvOS, and we have asked Apple to support 4x3 dimension images up there.

Ah, I see. What if the caption below the images were included in the Top Shelf? The images are 4x3, but with the caption showing the station logo and textual program name, it seems that might work?
