My son (in college) and I often watch the same basketball game, but only one playback position gets ‘remembered’. So often times, whoever starts the game second will end up jumping into the game at the position the first person was at (instead of, say, the beginning).
If we had multiple user profiles, then the playback position and watched/unwatched state of recordings could be saved per profile.
