I will be moving temporarily for a few months where I will not be able to use the HDHomeRun tuner and an antenna. I have hundreds of episodes recorded on my hard drive using Channels app.
Can I still watch these episodes on my AppleTV using the Channels app without the HDHR tuner installed? Do I still need to subscribe to the DVR functionality of the Channels app to watch these recorded episodes on my AppleTV?
I know I could simply watch them directly from the hard drive, but I want to have the convenience of simply clicking on them in the Channels app on my AppleTV (like I’m doing now) rather than Airplaying them from my computer.
