I'm playing with Collections for the first time, ultimately I'm trying to get caught up with all of my old Walking Dead Universe recordings. I've got a number of TWD, and Fear the Walking Dead, and The Talking Dead aftershow, that i would like to sort by Date Released so i can view them in the order they were released. Right now, the built in sort is sorting the shows in general but not the individual episodes. Any advice?
Library Collections are for Movies and TV Shows, not episodes. So sorting is only going to effect those pieces of content. Once you enter the show to see it's recordings/episodes, it's no different than entering from anywhere else in the app.
Thanks for your reply. So i guess Collections isn't the solution I'm looking for. Can you think of anything else that would accomplish what I'm looking for? The data is there as the original air date is in the data for each episode's description. I really want to know if it's "safe" to watch the recorded Talking Dead episode that originally followed the premiere of an episode
There isn't quite anything in Channels right now that can let you group together episodes from disparate shows.
What you're looking for is a Playlist kind of mechanism, which Channels does not have.
We're looking at doing it, but there's many things to consider before we can develop it.
