Uverse & Firecast question

Hello,
Just saw the beta version being released for use with dvr and monthly /year . I understand U-verse is different. But can we use login for this to work?

Follow up what about amazon firecast ?
Can that be used as the dvr device? With channels as the source ?

If you are talking about TV everywhere, yes it will work with Uverse. If you mean can I use a Recast as the DVR, no. You need a Hdhomerun Network tuner.
