V4.4.0 - Painfully Choppy Playback

Just updated to the latest version of Channels (4.4.0) and video playback is incredibly choppy...video is interrupted at least every second if not more frequently on HD and some SD channels. The tuner being used is an HDHomeRun Connect with the latest firmware. Things worked just fine with the previous version.

Playback is normal on the latest version of the iOS app--including the HD channels, so it's not a TV antenna signal or network speed issue.

Anyone else running into this?

Does VLC or the official HDHR app on the same Apple TV work?

Hi and great question--Yes, the video playback is normal using the HDHR app on the same AppleTV.
