Was coming here to add this as a request, but just stumbled across it.
It works great for playing back recordings.
Will have to try later for recordings in progress and chasing live tv.
Not sure if it's the Channels Plus DVR web UI player or my Firefox browser that enables it (guessing Firefox).
I've used that feature in Firefox before to get through mandatory training videos quicker.
Been using Firefox for years and never knew it was there!
So I had been using VLC on my nightly news recordings to play them back at 2x speed.
Now I can do it using the Channels Plus DVR web UI player which is perfect for watching my one hour nightly news recordings in less than 30 minutes, just like TiVo Quick Mode with the SPS79S speedup hack.
Do any of the Channels clients have adjustable speed playback?
