Verizon TVE - Channels Disappear Overnight?

Hello everyone,

When I went to tune into my Channels DVR this morning, it seems my accessible TVE channels went down from 114 to 84. I tried to update the provider by deleting FIOS and re-adding, but got the annexed error. Even after this message goes away, I only get the 80-something channels. Anyone know of a fix? I use Channels as a TVE hub, so this seriously injures my use case.

Thank you for any help!

I’m experiencing the same problem

I also just updated to the 9.24 build hoping that would fix it. Same problem

Glad to know it isn't just me. @tmm1 is great with these dumb little hiccups, so I am hoping he sees this!

Same here. I rescanned and am getting only half my stations.

Before this issue were you able to see all of your FIOS channels ? I don’t see the Redzone channel on the Channels app ? Any advice why ?

I was able to see all of my channels. It’s down to 81 from 173.

I have the same issues as @mike89and @Kalihusband. I have another provider login from Optimum and it works fine. It has to be a Fios issue, or Channels issue related to Fios TVE.

Just downloaded the latest update. Back up to 168/173 channels. I’ll have to go in and rescan the channels individually. But the update definitely worked.

How do you scan for channels individually ? Thanks

Open the source and choose the individual channels and rescan. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to work.

Which platform are you on? Windows?

Yes

I just downloaded the latest update and it let me add the account back, and is currently scanning channels.

I'm still seeing the the error from the first post when trying to add a Verizon TVE source.

Does it work on nbc.com/live

it worked when I was previously logged into Verzion in the same incognito session. fails with the same error when I try to login in a fresh incognito session.

this is the log from the DVR: (User id scrubbed)

maybe it is regional, As I'm in a different area than the account . I VPN'd to an area closer to the account and could login but not able to watch anything on NBC.

If I go to verizon.com and login, then hit nbc it all works.

You can try the new build in ~15min to see if there is any improvement
