@tmm1 Are the “new” Versant spinoff networks from NBC available via TV Everywhere? I have faint hope…but you never know, now that they’re split off from NBC more proper if these networks can be made available more directly now or if there remain constraints (e.g. DRM) that keep us limited to alternatives like CC4C?

The Versant spinoff technically hasn't even happened yet. At this point, it's an internal organization under Comcast. That said, the expected spinoff might happen by the end of this year, perhaps sometime in Q1 2026. Either way, they're just going to take all the existing Comcast tech with them, which means DRM, which means no change in the status quo.
I wouldn’t presume that they’ll adopt the Comcast tech stack without modifications. Remember, Comcast made a deliberate choice to encrypt their TVE feeds, while others like ABC and CBS haven’t.
Regardless of the technology, different individuals in those positions may have divergent views on approaches to attract viewers. While it’s reasonable to keep the stack for a TSA period, they’re equally likely to reconsider the tech stack holistically due to the reduced economies of scale.
One can dream...
Based on an analysis I just did a few hours ago, a dream it shall most likely remain! Thus far, these decisions have made it even more difficult to access the future Versant networks.
Actually, I can see traces of XFinity's Contour being applied in there in how it seems to be functioning. If I were a cynical person, I'd say they were setting up Versant so it has to pay Comcast a lease for its tech in perpetuity, thus siphoning off even more money from the old cash cow into the so-called new and limber organization. I mean, should I believe corporations would ever act in a such way!
For what it's worth...I definitely see meaningful policy differences between the two already.
The NBC-affiliated livestreams would timeout after four hours. If you were recording overlapping, back-to-back shows you needed to do some timing gymnastics to reset that timer.
The Versant networks currently have no such restrictions on their livestreams...gloriously so.
I choose to believe in a brighter (or at least caring less about outliers like us and therefore not blocking it) future. 
There's more going on that meets the eye, I suspect.
