Version for OS X

First, great app - thanks!

Is there a plan to make a version that will work on OS X? My theater room uses a Mac-mini, it would be awesome if Channels would work on a Mac (even without the DVR feature).

Is anybody aware of an alternative (supporting DD5.1) in the meantime?

Would this be a way to view DRM content since OS X (I think) has support for HDCP?

There’s no plans for other platforms right now. We’re focused on making the Apple TV app as great as possible.

http://www.geniatech.com/news/geniatech-expands-to-european.asp These guys just bought the Elgato TV division it appears that they’re being very aggressive they’re going to go after companies such as channels and other markets to capture iOS and Mac OS along with a heavy influx of android and Windows. I have spoken to somebody that works for the company and he is very aware of the channels app so channels is in the crosshairs of geniatech they’re going to attack all platforms of television I currently am running the Elgato version on my Mac connected to silicon dust on the network it works fine I can record my shows works as a DVR it’s pretty nice

You can download the HDHomerun viewer. Its pretty good

Thanks for the heads up. We are keeping a close eye on Geniatech and are curious to see what they come up with and how long it takes them to do it.

Looks like Geniatech has decided to stop supporting the HDHomeRun in the latest version of EyeTV.
