Wondering if anyone else has this issue. I have an older MacBook Pro and whenever I open the lid when video is playing on the Apple TV the player briefly freezes for a few seconds. I don't see any errors in the log.
Is the MacBook Pro your DVR server? If so, is it hard wired or WiFi?

Only thing I can think is some sort of WiFi issue or interference. Is the Apple TV on WiFi?
Yea Apple tv is WiFi. The server is wired.
If you can try wiring the Apple TV that would be useful to see if it fixes it.
What kind of wifi router are you using?
