When playing multiple videos in PIP mode or audio only mode on an iPhone, the player controls are out of sync with the video. This issue appears after the first video concludes in the queue. Once the subsequent video begins to play, iOS/iPadOS doesn’t know a video is playing and instead of seeing the pause icon, it will display the play icon while the video is playing. This causes all kinds of issues especially when I want to control playback via my Apple Watch for volume, pausing, etc. as the Apple Watch doesn’t know anything is playing and thus looses focus in now playing.
I believe this is also related to the issue when launching PIP mode by swiping up, it sometimes will close the window instead of opening PIP mode because iOS/iPadOS thinks there is no video playing…
