Video stuttering - signal issues?

One channel (8.1 ABC) is stuttering on recordings. The video holds in place (or skips), but the audio is always perfect. Thought it could be a signal issue, but here is the interesting thing. If I'm watching a recorded or viewing live via time shifting, is when I see the stuttering, but if I change it to watch live, then the problem doesn't occur. Only happens on one channel and usually only happens on longer recordings such as the Oscars, but never on 30 minute recordings such as the news. I'm using a HDHR Extend (set to Heavy) on latest firmware. Channels DVR is set to heavy on the HDHomeRun Extend as well.

The recorded video indicates signal loss in Channels. Any ideas on things to try? Thx!

Check network path between the DVR and HDHR. Sounds like direct connection between client and HDHR is not affected.

Since it says signal issue and not network issue, there may be some interference with your antenna. Maybe WiFi router is too close to the antenna
