Has anyone had a problem the stream jumping back to what you've already seen? Am viewing on Google Streamer and I believe I have had this behavior both with Live broadcast and recordings. we will be watching a program and it will jump back to an earlier time (anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour).
I've only seen this with a corrupted recording file
Right now I had the TV on watching live a program that was from 7-8PM - I was working on a project and not paying attention - it's now 8:20 and the 8-9pm program should have been on and I looked up to see what had been on an hour before. It's like it got to the end of the live program and rather than continuing to the next it went back and started playing the 7PM show again.

Are developers even looking here? I am watching the Five on FoxNews right now. LIVE. It's 5:30 and all of the sudden the stream jumps back to the beginning of the recording. I'm not even watching the recording - i am watching live.
My environment is Google Streamer client and I am running on a Aoostar R7 5825U with 64GB in TrueNAS scale container. I have also experienced this on a SER7 (7735HS 32GB) running Windows.
The only things that do this for me, is certain Pluto TV channels. Watching live, then it jumps back like 10 min. Or close stream and, start again, its 10 min back. This on both Nvidia Shields and Apple TV/iOS as clients. Server does not matter, as it did it both with my Windows based and Linux based one. Not had it happen with TVE based channels though.
I don't recall ever seeing this happen. My sources are HDHomerun tuners and TVE. I only use Firestick Max devices. I watch many recordings, but not as much live TV. I occasionally get a short pause while watching live TV. It looks like the buffer runs out of audio data, but generally the video will restart. Sometimes I need to backup 10 sec to get it to restart. I believe the startup to watch live TV is about 300 ms to fast to have a completely reliable stream. At least this is what it looks like on my Firesticks.
