Virtual Channel Buffering

I have a bit of a tricky one here.

I have a Virtual Channel set up to play episodes of Star Trek series in random order. For some reason, only episodes of DS9 seem to pause and buffer frequently, but only on the virtual channel and only on iOS. It never happens on Apple TV. And if I play those from my library, not the virtual channel, even on iOS, they load and play fine, no buffering. And every other video that plays on that virtual channel and other virtual channels play fine, no buffering.

My server is in a fully wired connection.

Any ideas what could be going on here?

You might try playing that episode in VLC and see if still has issues. Maybe something is messed up with the recording? Just a guess.

I could try, but again, the exact same episodes play perfectly when I play from the Channels Library. I can even jog to specific points and it will start playing with very little lag.

I wouldn’t know why they would. Behind the scenes they’re playing just like if you played them from your library.
