Virtual Channel ignoring Smart Rule

I am trying to split up my library collection of The Simpsons to two different virtual channels. One that plays seasons 1-10 (golden years episodes) and the other that plays seasons 11 - 30whatever. I originally tried to just set a simple smart rule of "Season Number <= 10" but have since tried other limiters such as "Year <= 2000" and "Episode <= 226". In all instances, the correct episodes show up in the preview at the bottom of the page, but the virtual channel always continues playing seasons 11+ regardless.

I have tried "delete and recreate" for the guide database, deleting the virtual channel and recreating it, restarting the Channels DVR service, rebooting the server, and updating to the latest pre-release (2023.11.15.2139).

The easiest solution is if I could put a custom limit on the Virtual Channel instead of using a smart rule. But 50 is nowhere near enough.

Weird, have you tried refreshing the Virtual Channels? Find the Virtual Channels source in your Live TV sources and use the action to refresh them.

When editing a Virtual Channel, this should happen automatically though.

Have you also tried deleting and re-creating the channel with your rules?

Hi. Yes I did try refreshing the virtual channels and deleting & recreating the channel, along with the other troubleshooting steps I mentioned.

Please submit diagnostics from your Channels DVR Server web admin, we might be able to see something.

Hi. Did you get a chance to look at the diags?

I managed to fix this by deploying a new VM and installing a fresh copy of Channels DVR. Reinstalling on the same server didn't seem to help.
