Virtual Channel Mini Marathon question

Do I understand this correctly? It will play 3 episodes in order of one show, then 3 episodes in order of a different show, so on and so on. Then when it loops back to the first show, it will continue where it left off with the next 3 episodes? So for example..

Show A- s01e01, s01e02, s01e03
Show B- s01e01, s01e02, s01e03
Show C- s01e01, s01e02, s01e03
loop back..
Show A- s01e04, s01e05, s01e06
Show B- s01e04, s01e05, s01e06
Show C- s01e04, s01e05, s01e06
loop back.. so on, and so on.

That is my understanding of the mini marathon definition in the support articles. But it does not behave like this at all. It goes on for more than 3 episodes, then it goes on to the next show and continues counting from the previous show. For example below...

Show A- s01e01, s01e02, s01e03 all the way to s01e20
Show B- s01e21, s01e22, s01e23 so on, and so on.

So, not only is it not a 3 episode block, the next show doesn't even start from beginning, it's continuing the count of previous show. Please advise.

So is this a known issue? Or, perhaps I'm confused by the delay in the change in the guide? How long does it usually take for new sorting to show up in the guide? I don't think this is the problem, since I've gone hours or even next day to check, and it's still messed up.

Would it be better to name the episodes like this... 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, so and so on?
