I currently have 2 of my virtual channels that have stopped continuing to the next episode. Any ideas?
Actually, it appears all my virtual channels are not continuing. Is there a setting somewhere for continuing??
What version of the app are you using. You will need to provide way more details for anyone to be able to offer any help.
Server: Version 2024.07.18.0352
Client: AndroidTV 11 API/30 v4.7.1
While I was checking app version I went ahead and cleared all app data and re-setup my connection to server. Will see if that helps any.
Nope, still stopping after each episode. Is there a virtual channel limit? It wasnt happening when I only had 15 or so. I'm up to 28 now.

I have 45 virtual channels.
Its about 99% of my usage on channels.
Sometimes they stop refreshing. Manually on the server side ui there are quick actions to add to the top bar. One of them is "refresh virtual channels".
doing that manually usually solves it.
I also noticed that i never had issues with smaller numbers of channels. I also noticed that the server side number for the channel isnt the same as the one given to it by the user. perhaps that is what causes the mix up as virtual channels are renumbered.
Interesting, I will give the refresh a try if I can find it. Upon further testing it is only some of my virtual channels that have the issue. For me it gets to the end of the file and then just stops and sits there forever until you back out and reselect the channel.
yep. thats what happens to me. I can confirm i can replicate it. It usually happens after adding content to the Virtual Channels.
Thank you TexasYeti, I did the refresh and will check it later to see if better.
no worries. if that works it may be useful information for the developers. I never brought it up.
Virtual Channel list for the heck of it.
i have the same view, i just edited it to make them next to each-other. haha
Unfortunately, it didnt fix the problem.
can you play the file manually on the client? (seeing if the file is corrupted at the end or something)
beside just telling the DVR server to reboot im out of ideas. lol be sure to submit diagnosis
Yes, all files play correctly from the library. I havent submitted diags because it doesnt really error. Guess I'll let it get to the end of a show and when it just sits there without going to the next show I'll hit the submit
I have this issue, but only when using PIP.
