I just want to start by saying I’m new to Channels and I really appreciate the design of the app with VoiceOver suport in mind. This is probably the most compatible 3rd party TVOS app I’ve come across.

However, while in the “On Now” tab, the filter buttons (All, HD, Favorites, Etc.) don’t seem to be labeled for VoiceOver support. This is not a huge deal since I can figure out what is selected by navigating through the programs. I just wanted to point it out. The rest of the interface works so well that I figured this was most likely an oversite and an easy fix.

Great work guys. I absolutely love Channels. I bought both the Apple TV and Android TV apps and plan to stay a DVR subscriber. :slight_smile:

I gave it a quick try here and it seems to work. It says for example “selected, favorites, button”

Interesting. This is how it works for me. When I first navigate up (or down) to the filters row it will read the entire row to me. So for example if the Favorites filter is selected it will say “All button HD button selected Favorites Button… and so forth”. Then as I’m navigating left and right between the filters it just says “button selected button” every time.

I am using the 4K Apple TV and I wonder if it’s because of the touch remote. I’ve noticed that swipes aren’t registered the same as left/right button presses in certain apps. For example, I can’t swipe right and left to skip forward and backward through the show. I don’t have an older Apple TV remote to test it out.

I really appreciate you looking into this for me. Overall VoiceOver works great with your app and it is still 100 percent usable for me even with this minor quirk, so no complaints here. Some apps are completely unusable for me.
