Volume regulation in Web player?

I have just come back to Channels after a hiatus. (Lost access to my cable card feature due to company changing the way their service works and they don't know how to get it working again).

Issue is that when I open the web player to a channel, the volume is very low and I have to turn my Mac Volume all the way up. That is, until I made the video window full screen and then the Volume blew me out of my chair.

I have noticed this no matter the source (IPTV and Spectrum connect). In Safari on Mac Big Sur.

This is not happening with any other web video in Safari. Any insight would be helpful.

Strange.
Have you tried with any other browsers?

Didn't think about trying as I don't use others regularly but does not happen in Firefox.

Interesting thing is that before reporting, I quite safari and reopened to test and it still happened but after doing it now again, it is not happening.

Figured it out - Home app open and video camera open in the background caused the issue.

I’ve seen this with the home app, it’s so weird that it does this to the system volume.
