I am currently on the beta pipeline but this has been happening for a while now where ABC Jeopardy recordings will cut to a commercial early and cut off some of the show going into the commercial break. Not sure if I need to provide more details on the issue or this is something that is already known
What is the callsign for your ABC?
Maybe someone else using the same one can comment.
Do you have another source for your ABC that you can verify if it happens there. (OTA/CABLE/etc.)
Local networks via TVE is considered "Experimental", not even Alpha or Beta.
I am also having that issue. The callsign is WABC. It is channel 7 in the NYC market. I have viewed Jeopardy live and recorded using YTTV and the commercial breaks are correct. The issue seems to be limited to recordings of Jeopardy.

Just watched Jeopardy on abc.com and the show was cut off by the commercial break which infers that the issue is at abc rather than with the channels app

I record WABC 7 NYC via FIOS and commercial skipping is usually perfect.

Commercial skipping is fine for Jeopardy, but there are about 2-3 seconds cut off from gameshow time that cut right to commercial.
