How do I force a duplicate recording to happen? I have two different airings of a show. They are labeled as the same show in EPG. But my provider source is not reliable. So instead of seeing a failed message, I want to try recording it twice. CHANNELS tries to prevent duplicate recordings of the same show. How do I force a duplicate recording regardless of being the same label in the EPG?

Just pick both of them from the guide and choose record
Will try that. Have to delete the SEASON PASS first though.
You can Pause the pass, select the two airings to record, then resume the pass.
You can even do that from the Matches tab inside the Paused pass.

That's really helpful. was thinking about just running a copy of NEXTPVR at the same time to do this, but liking your way better. Do not want to run two DVR softwares at the same time if I can help it.
Chdv --- well when I schedule a recording, the duplicate in the EPG seems to get scheduled also. Thinking that CHANNELS actives both and whatever finishes first gets saved, regardless of being completed correctly. Will see after I do some testing.
It's an illusion. You need to manually schedule each one you want recorded.
