When I select something in the guide that is currently recording, I’m prompted as to whether I want to watch the recording or watch live. My question - could I do both? Often with sporting events I start recording them in case I miss an early goal, etc - but what I really want to do is check the current score and be able to rewind in case I missed something.
In otherwords if you select watch live it should play the DVR recording but start it at the end of the recording rather than the start? Sounds ideal to me.
I agree that it should take advantage of the DVR’s recording and do that, since it knows about it. I just never would. I want to enjoy all the ups and downs of the game, that’s why I don’t have any notifications on sports. It’s also real easy to say watch recording and scrub to the live if you want, so I can see it wouldn’t be a priority.

It would also save a tuner for something or someone else.
I thought eabling tuner sharing would be the solution to that problem. I don’t double check it, but I have it enabled on all my devices.
Forgot about tuner sharing. I haven’t checked but I presume tuner sharing includes the DVR as well as device clients. Not 100% sure though will have a look this evening.
