I know the devs have mentioned their lack of interest in doing user profiles.
Could a possible option for those wanting to share with family be a “Watch state” setting, so you can set it to copy whatever the current server Watch state is, or completely ignore that and only keep Watch state of what has been watched on that specific device?
I feel like most people I want to share my server with (immediate family), would only use it on one device.
I am currently reluctant to share my Channels server and instead set them up with a plex server which is not ideal.
Definitely the solution to multiple watch states but apart from user profiles, I can’t really see any other options. (Server side “Watch State Profiles”?)
