Watching away from home is no longer working for me. It had been fine until recently (the last couple of months).
I was trying use the app (Android Mobile and Android TV app) - it loads the guide and all recordings just fine, it's only when I attempt to play a recording or watch live tv, it just doesn't load the stream. The web app version (http://my.channelsdvr.net/ is still working though).
Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this?
Its a round about solution but I've found using Tailscale to make a direct VPN connection is the most simple solution. Also works when bringing streaming sticks to hotels.
Yeah I have a VPN, and I kind of managed to get it working with the VPN - but it was a bit unreliable. This used to work though, so I'm wondering if something has changed.
If Use HEVC for transcoding is checked on the gui settings page try unchecking it.

This setting should have a big, red letter, warning - USE AT OWN RISK!
Everything under EXPERIMENTAL should be used at your own risk and after learning more about what the setting does.
