Trying to watch a couple of shows on my Win10 system. Channels DVR is on my MacPro. Shows have locked up a few times. I need to quit the show and then restart in order to unlock the play back.
Where are you watching from? The Apple TV app? Or via the web UI?
I was watching from the WebUi. I just reset an AppleTV and the show is not locking up. I’ll try the WebUI again.
Back on my Win10 box, and the playback is locking up. It was ok on my AppleTV. Same recorded show.
What browser are you using to watch on Windows?
Does the Log tab show any errors? Can you copy/paste the OS/CPU sections from the DVR settings page?
What if you change the transcoder setting to Software instead of Hardware. Does that fix the lockups?

What happens to the player when it locks up? Does it turn black? Or just freeze the picture where it was? Does the sound stop too?
Is it randomly in the middle? Or usually near the end of the video? Does it happen every 5min, 10min, more/less often?
Picture and sound freezes. It happens at any point in what ever is playing. I close the window and restart. It picks up where it stopped.
Web interface still locking up.

A screenshot would help, along with the time stamp in the video where is stopped so I can compare to the logs.
will do, in the next lock up.

Thanks. Can you open the Chrome devtools console (click Ctrl+Shift+J and click on Console tab), then type:
Hls.DefaultConfig.debug = true
You can resize the console panel so its out of the way, but leave it open while you start watching again. When it locks up, there should be some messages in the console area. Copy/paste them.
More info on the devtools console with some screenshots is available on https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/
Maybe even try it without typing the debug command first. There should be errors either way, and it might be easier to see them without all the extra log messages in debug mode.

Interesting. Can you try firefox and see if it happens there too?
