Web interface: what's the blue vertical line mean?

When looking at the the Guide using a browser, some shows have a blue vertical line on the left. What does that mean?

Nothing similar in the ATV Guide?

Sorry to revive an old thread but I was wondering the same thing. As I’m still testing things out I noticed that I don’t see a first air date or a “New” tag anywhere in my ATV guide.

New tags show up at the top of the screen with the guide description when you’re using the DVR guide data.

So if I don’t have a DVR setup then I wouldn’t see a 'New" tag? Is that something that could be added to the guide so you can quickly see if something is new or not?

The New tag is only available in the DVR guide data. Without the DVR we don’t know if something is new so there’s nothing to show.

Example, on TiVo they have a little rectangle inside of the time block of the show that just says NEW.

For the app only, are you provided with the air date? Could you do a ‘if date = today then display NEW’

The app already does this if the air date is available, but it is not always present.

Ok I see that now. Can it be done inside of the time block for the show? Not in the guide details? That way as I am browsing the guide I can see quickly that a new show is on? vs having to highlight the show first.
