Web playback passthrough instead of transcode

HI -

Would it be possible to have an option not to transcode and instead simply pass-through as-is?

In my market Comcast has converted all but broadcast TV to h.264 streams at about 4 Mbps. This is an acceptable bitrate to me to send both locally and over the internet.

Perhaps as an advanced option it could be set to transcode only mpeg2 streams?

This is already built in to the DVR. Progressive h264 recordings will be remuxed instead of transcoded.

Awesome, don’t know how i missed it.

I recently had to revert to an E6600 Core 2 processor on my home server until I can get a replacement in place. In testing it was not happy about transcoding but I must have picked something that was mpeg2.
