Hi there I have been able to watch through the web interface really well before now, but on my iMac I've been unable to do so. Ive changed it to linear and VisVersa , I've turned down the bitrate all the way back down and back up. It works on my Chromebook great, and our MacBook Air, just my iMac has stopped. Im Using a WDEX2 Mycloud. Its just this iMac it doesn't work on

It appears that its just the weather channel HD and Non HD is effected , the only channel I really watch lol
Its not transcoding fast enough. Same show/channel should have the same result regardless of where you are streaming it though. Try turning your transcode settings all the way down, and set it to blend instead of linear.
It works at 1080 on all other channels, I’ve turned it down and switched either way from linear to blend, same effect it comes up with error. If I choose anther HD channel , it comes straight up no problem
different channels are broadcast at different resolutions and bitrates. Your WD NAS can’t keep up with this one. There are probably other similar channels that you haven’t noticed yet.
it worked before, and the strange thing is it works great on my Chromebook and MacBook.
oh. nevermind then. i guess its not the transcoder then. something must be not right with your imac.

Try a different browser on the iMac
Could you start a recording on weather channel, then stop it after a minute or so.
Then see if you’re able to watch the recording with the web player.
Yes I’m able to watch recordings flawlessly , and other channels work ok at the top setting. it just seems to be related to the weather channel hd and sd I have to go really low on the settings and it still skips and jumps then freezes.
Super weird that it refuses to playback only on your iMac, and other devices are fine. Seems like some sort of hardware issue decoding the videos on there for some reason. What’s the exact year/model?
its a late 2015 iMac 21.5 I know its totally weird. originally worked great on here.
