I love that there’s a 30 second advance on the new web player, but one bummer is that the transcoder buffer isn’t big enough to get through a typical commercial block. That means the advances get much slower once the transcoder has to start fresh. Seems like it should be easy to increase the transcode ahead buffer so that advances can be nice and quick.

The buffer is currently set to 3 minutes. Would increasing it to 5 minutes help?
