Web Player issues (Mac)

Just to butt in on this one I see the same behaviour on my Mac. Clicking on a stream to watch using the web browser usually doesn’t work, transcoder just ticks up with no output. Refresh the browser and try again a few times and it will generally work in the end. Playback only very rarely fails on my appletv client (usually due to incorrect tuning for channel). Log looks similar to one posted here, no errors, just the start/ stop entries. My DVR is running on Mac (same machine I’m trying to view on).

I usually just bare with it ill it works as other clients on mac are pretty crappy when they do work! Be nice if it worked closer to 100% of the time though I guess. I realise this isn’t a usual way of using Channels, but the DVR from end is so nice now it would be great if this could be fixed.

Did you try switching to software?

I’m on an old chip, so no hardware option (3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)

What version of macOS? What browser are you using? Did you try Chrome?

Just tried in Chrome - seems to work fine there.
Mac os version is 10.11.6 (El Capitan) -
Safari version is 11.1.2
