Web player picture-in-picture has no rewind/ff buttons?

How do I skip forward or back in the web player when in picture-in-picture mode? I only have the "return to window", "Pause/play", and "mute/unmute" buttons available.

Controls stay in the player for PIP. This is normal. You control it from there.

Well, I suggest a behavior change. I expect all the controls to move out into the PIP window...my whole reason to use PIP mode is to make it a separate window I can move or resize, and then I can put aside or minimize the original window/tab.

AIUI, this is up to the browser. If you want this to change, lobby your browser distributor.

Yeah, pip is a system thing. There’s not a thing we do to make it work, nor is there anything we can do to change it.

It doesn’t work any different for us than it does for YouTube or any other service.

OK, thanks for the info.

I did find a way to do something "close enough" to what I want: use the "full player" option which puts the player into its own new tab/window using most of the window space (not a pop-up on top of an existing UI page, as is the web player option). The full player option's window I can resize/move around and do nearly the same things for display as PIP mode.
