Web player time shift not working?

In Windows 11 Edge and Chrome browsers, the pause button doesn't pause, it does freeze the video frame, but resume goes back to live TV. Skip forward and skip back does nothing. I have used the web player on numerous different pc's and have never seen this behavior. Must be a server issue because it does the same thing on another pc that certainly worked before. Only an issue in the web player because the Apple TV app works as expected.

Can someone please check if this issue is only me or can a mod please tell me that these features have been removed. Thanks in Advance.

Try a different browser.

Firefox works for me.

Edge doesn't work for me (same symptoms as yours).

Brave shows "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported". If I let it sit awhile it starts playing, but then acts like EDGE.

Tested using the same HDHR tuner source channel Live.

I don't use Chrome.

Strangely enough it works on my iPhone Safari. Pauses and resumes. The skip forward/back buttons work and I can scrub in the timeline.

Thanks. This worked on Edge recently and has always worked since 2021. I even put in a request to get remote control function working and it was added. I don't use Firefox due to the way it does vertical tabs. 30% of my Channels viewing is on the web so this is a bummer. My yearly subscription renews in 10 days.

I use the web browser for a lot of my viewing.
The VLC integration works on Windows to watch in VLC.
The developers will tell you that the web browser is not a supported client, so don't expect much.

I remember seeing other posts about the same error message "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported" when using Chrome.
