Web scheduling error

If you try and schedule a pass using Web program interface there is problem or bug.

For example, clicking on "Killing Eve" which is shown tonight at 6pm on BBC-HD, gear icon and new series pass opens window to configure the season pass. I fully appreciate a pass may wish to record a particular show accross multiple channels however why should that be the default? In this scenario, when I click on Killing Even on BBC-HD, why is channel box blank and not pre-fillled by default? If you leave the box blank, it finds every episode (yes even with it set to record only new episodes) so the same episode on AMC is scheduled to record? What does the end user put in the Channel box to prevent the season pass from searching all channels? I tried channel number and that didn't work. Sorry I just think the default should be for the channel selected or at least give user specify option of all channels or current channels selected. Please take my comments as feedback and not complaints but I just find it counter-intuitive.

You would need to put the number of the channel into the box to filter the pass to BBC only. I can see arguments either way- you may click a syndicated re-run to create a pass that records new episodes on another channel. Most users don't care which channel is used for recording.

Killing Eve on BBB-HD is TVE channel 6087. Entering that number in the channel box does not prevent recording from being scheduled on AMC. Am I missing something? Please try it for yourself from web interface.

Can you click Help > Submit Diagnostics

I'm happy to submit a diagnostic but are you telling me that if you go to your web interface and manually enter the TVE channel number it doesn't schedule a recording on a different channel? I've given you a specific example which I think would take 1 minute to replicate.

Diagnostic log just submitted. I would respectfully ask you to consider modifying the dialogue box for the season pass to specify just the channel selected or all channels.

In your diagnostics I only see upcoming recordings scheduled on channel 6087

I did try it myself and I cannot reproduce.

Okay that's a display bug on the guide. If you look at DVR > Schedule it will show what will record and where.
