Can’t seem to find any information on the web UI for Channels and/or Channels DVR;
is this UI just for DVR or can one watch live TV from it as well; how does one access it?
The web UI is available with the DVR, once you install the DVR software on your computer or NAS.

So is the WebUI limited to remote playback of recorded content, or can it be used sort of like a Slingbox replacement utilizing the Channels DVR software to tune the HDHomerun (Prime, in my case), and then use the DVR hardware for transcoding? Certainly wouldn’t mind consolidating stuff if that is a possibility.
Yes you can use the web UI to watch live TV remotely if your DVR server/NAS is powerful enough to transcode.
Awesome… was thinking the Synology DS216+II but may jump up to the DS716+II for the extra ram and expandability… Thanks & perfect timing too; Sling Media just announced that they are stopping production of the Slingbox.
